Can you breastfeed once a day ?

I'm 7 months pp. my baby has been EBF up until 6 months when we started giving him solids, formula, and breastfed only 3 times a day (morning, afternoon, night). I'm pregnant again and it's just too much on my body and my baby doesn't seem interested except in the mornings he will breastfeed and then go back to sleep. Am I able to breastfeed once a day and not lose my supply? I was surprised I was able to do it 3 times a day without losing it. It would be great if I could do it mornings only but it probably wouldn't work😔

I'm still nursing my third son who is 14 months. When he turned 1 I stopped pumping at work and started whole milk. I only nurse at home now, mostly before bed. If you nurse at the same time every day, milk will be there for you at that time every day. Supply and demand. You keep giving what you can. It's an amazing thing.

And congrats on your pregnancy. My first two boys are 18 months apart and it's tough and rewarding! Make sure you have a great double stroller

Your body works on demand. That's what my doc said.  So for me when I decide to go back to work then I could feed in the morning and night if I wanted and weekend I could feed all the time.  The baby can get a lot more out then a pump so you could double check with your doc but you should be ok to do once a day :). Just might take a while for your body to realize what's happening maybe you might feel some pressure build up if your milk comes in fast all that good stuff.  But just double check with your doc :)
