Husbands Pornography Use and Fantasies
About a month ago my husband came to me confessing that he had been using pornography for masturbation since he was a teenager. We've been together for 7 years and married 3.5. I was completely taken off guard and truly had no idea this was going on. After talking about it he swore it was always online, never in person, never anyone we knew, etc. We went to counseling and I began handling things pretty well.
Last night we were discussing a few issues and he ended up admitting that he had on more than one occasion fantasized about my best friend and masturbated to the thought of them together. He also admitted to seeing college aged girls at work and finding out their names so he could look them up on social media and masturbate to their photos.
He continues to get caught in lies like this and it makes me doubt that he's even stopped this habit/addiction at all. Or if he has for now, is he just going to pick it back up again in the future?
Although it hurt, I was managing to get past his previous infidelity with porn stars on the internet as long as he was done with it and seeing a counselor. I don't know how to get past knowing that he sees women out and about or important women in our lives and desires them.
We are 26 years old with a healthy sex life. Actively involved in church as we have been our entire lives. I want my marriage to work but I don't know how to get past this.
