troubles

So my husbands family has always tried to , tear us apart. And come between us. So today I told my husband sweetly and nicely that I wanted us to prove them wrong Bc we have a lot of people that want to see us fall. So he says to me that he doesn't have to prove anything to anyone but us. But I just feel like I want him to fight for us more.
