heartburn😫😭

Okay so I've had heartburn since I was like 14 weeks except it wasn't bad at that time it would come every once in a blue moon and I am now 21 weeks and 2 days and it's TERRIBLE for the past few nights I've been getting it so so bad... my mom got me some tums and it helped the first 2-3 days but I started feeling it an hour ago and took one right away and it didn't help at all... idk what to do. I have my appointment today to find out the gender and I'm hoping he will prescribe something for me but I want to know if anyone else has went through this? It even makes me throw up at times.
