Friend Calling CPS?

So today I was talking to one of my friends and telling her about how my daughter had to have an upper GI x-ray. I then told her about how my daughter couldn't eat for eight hours, and how the radiology office had us waiting for an extra 2 hours, so my daughter hadn't eaten for 10 hours. Can she call CPS on me? I feel like someone would if you told them that. I'm so scared. It was a medical procedure, and now I'm worried.

Unfounded. Cps wouldn't do a thing. N my oldest when she was 2 or 3 had to not eat for 8 hrs and take laxatives to clean out her system for GI procedure. It's normal and medical requires it so even if friend called CPS would thank her for her concern but it's not a reason for them to get involved. N that's not a good friend if she calls.

Anyone can call for any reason. That doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. If you're worried someone might call for something like that then they probably aren't your friend.

It's well known that for certain medical procedures you have to have an empty stomach and therefore can't eat for a certain amount of time. If she calls CPS for that, she's not a good friend. Now, if a child is routinely going without food, that's a totally different story.

She can not call. You couldn't feed her cause of the tests being done. That is doctors orders. You aren't starving her.
