So, if any of you haven't heard, Skittles recently came out with an all-white limited edition pack of skittles for pride. With "only one rainbow matters this pride" written across the back. Their intention is to support the LGBTQ+ community, but people are accusing them for white supremacy because "white means equal" is really what skittles is trying to say. What do you guys think about this? Personally, I think that an all white package isn't white supremacy, or trying to suggest that "white means equal", just that literally what they said "only one rainbow matters". It seems to me that they took the colors out of the skittles to leave only one rainbow. Since "taste the rainbow" is their slogan. What do you get when you take out color? White. Plus, this way they only had to change their recipe a little bit, and it wouldn't be hard to change back. But I was curious of your opinions!
