trying to conceive

Hi my bf and I are trying for baby #2 we had unprotected sex a few times during the times it said I'm supposed to be fertile but I've been irregular for a couple months is there any chance I can get pregnant even if I am irregular and my second  question is if I go to the doctors will there be something they can do about me being irregular so I can get my period back on track and hopefully conceive??
