How common are breech babies?

I've heard they are very rare, but my first was breech and I tried absolutely everything to turn her! Even acupuncture. Nothing worked. Around the time I was due I had 5 other friends who were also expecting and out of those friends 3 also had breech babies! Is it more common than I thought? I've always heard it's only like 5% of babies but that seems really low just compared to the people I know of! I'm just curious because I'm now 19w with my second and I'm wondering what the odds are that he is breech as well. Thank you!
