Prodromal labor

Can we all agree that this is mother nature's biggest joke.. and she is a complete bitch sometimes. I have a posterior baby who absolutely refuses to turn anterior.. causing me to go in and out of labor. He isn't in a good position.. I've tried everything on spinning babies. Now at 40.2 weeks I'm so sick of getting constant strong contractions for 6 to 8 hours with nothing to show for it. :( I cried for hours last night after being up all night thinking this was it. We are having a home birth on top of it. :/ anyone else battling this??
