I just started using these a couple days ago, this app says I should be ovulating from the 1st- 8th. In the instructions it says if the control line is dark and the second line is light or not there then I'm not ovulating.. ?

This app gives you a 'fertile window' because sperm can supposedly live 5 days in your body, it's counting those days as fertile days leading up to your ovulation. Which means Glow is predicting you will ovulate closer to the 6th or 7th. 
Keep testing daily (I did twice a day) and it is positive once the test line is the same or darker than the control line. But continue to have sex regularly since the sperm can keep living in your system till you ovulate ☺️

When the test line is darker than the control line that's positive. I test 1x day then when the test line starts getting close I test 2x a day. Hope that helps
