Trying to get pregnant?

My partner and I been trying to get pregnant for about two weeks now. The last few days I felt very different, had some mild cramps here and there. My nipples has been somewhat sore, somewhat moody, but I am not sure if this is the symptoms for pregnancy or because I am about to get on my monthly. I am afraid to take a pregnancy test now since it's too soon...or should I take one now and take another one next week? Can someone with similar experience let me know plz. Thanks.
