Trying to forget someone!

Hi everyone, I may sound stupid but I met this guy 6 months ago at first i wasn't too much into him and I just to ignore him. But he didn't give up easily until finally we went out my worst error i guess was having sex with him on the first date 😔. I thought that that's all he wanted but not he kept in touch and we used to see each other every weekend. He lives an hour from me so it was kind of hard to see him every day. Every thing was fine until he started to ignore some of my messages, and he only used to communicate with me with 3 messages a day. Until boom one day i found a panty in his bedroom, i couldn't tell him at the moment because i was so confused but when i confronted him all i said was to leave me alone and to never talked to me but he insisted that it wasn't a recent incident that it was from his past and he didn't want to lose me It took me a week to forget him. But i did and since then every thing change, he would disappear the whole weekend and only txt me once a day. I became more suspicious about it. I decided to broke up with him. He didn't care this time since then he will look for me sometimes saying that he wants to see me but i guess just for sex! 😒 on friday i confronted him again and told him he can't be playing with me like that if he doesn't want anything serious to leave me alone i can't just be waiting for him whenever he feels like to see me! he said that he cares about me independently of what happened but that he doesn't believe in love and relationships that i deserve better and i could do more than him that He's damage and i was one of the ones he felt something for but when realized that he back up because he doesn't want to feel affection for anyone..i Cried 😓 until now i still going around and around at his words did he ever wanted something serious with me? did he really care about me? or it was just words..I felt stupid how can ended with a broken heart😓 How you girls deal with a broken heart how?
