Don't want to know if I'm dilating...

I keep having family who have had kids asking me how far I've dilated already at almost 37 weeks. I told them I dont know...they look at me like I have two heads 😂 then they ask me how I do I not know?? Because I haven't had my dr check because I don't care! It has nothing to do with the fact that i know it hurts to be checked, I just really don't care if I'm dilated to a 1-4cm. I can be dilated for weeks with no signs of labor so I'm not going to have him check just to be told I'm at a 1 and still not have baby girl for weeks. I see no point haha my sister was at a 3 for two weeks, I would be frustrated if I knew I was at that point and not progressing.
