2nd Pregnancy after CHD
Hello!
I suppose I'm just looking for some reassurance, or somebody who's been through the same thing?
My first son died when he was 18 days old due to CHD (Tricuspid Atresia). We found out during the pregnancy, roughly 23 weeks. He would of been 3 this July.
At the weekend I got a few positive pregnancy tests and I'm just waiting on a call from the midwife. I want to allow myself to be excited and think everything is going to be OK but naturally I can't help but worry about everything! Now I keep asking myself will this baby have CHD?
Has anyone been through the same thing?
We haven't told anyone yet as we want to wait until at least the 1st scan but I feel like I'm going insane!
