I just wanted to know peoples thoughts on two females having a child or to males having a child. My partner and I will be starting in July to have a child. We have two amazing kids that we have brought into this relationship and now we are ready for one if our own.

I don't think the sexual orientation of the parents matters. It's about the quality of parenting that's important. And quality parenting is not defined by ones sexual preference.

I had two moms growing up I loved it my mom meet my step mom when I was 8 I love them both now that my mom has passed I talk to my step mom all the time and take family vacations to go see her in maine I live in Alabama my kids call her maymay

Hi! I'm so happy to see there's other same sex couples here trying to conceive :) this was our first month trying but unfortunately seems like it wasn't t successful but it's ok, we'll keep trying good luck to you and your wife :)

I know some "normal" man and wife couples who are not good parents. I say it doesn't matter as long as the the child is loved and is raised with good morals and an open mind.

I've never really thought about it, but that's OK I'm not judgemental, there are good and bad parents out there, your sexuality doesn't factor into that imo

Go for it, be happy and follow your dreams, my sister-in law and her "wife" (not legal here yet but almost) have been together for years, they have two kids from a previous marriage, and they recently tried to have another (her wifes bff as a donor) but sadly had to many medical problems, and was told she couldn't carry to term
