My husband wanted to move to Western Canada or California soon after we got married and I refused to consider it unless he could justify such a huge move.

If he was going to be making anything more than we currently make combined, probably. But his dream is being a musician so he can happily travel without me!

Nope I have responsibilities here, my mam and nanas here who need me 24/7, I have a business here which isn't movable and I have a home here. I'm not moving anywhere for anyone I was born here and I'll die here.

I moved across the country for away from my friends and family for myself and my career. Then I met my husband. We have since moved to a different province again, away from friends and family, for his schooling (he's in law school). We will move again once he's finished school and has found permanent employment. I'm lucky that my career is pretty moveable and while it's not exactly growing or thriving with all the moving I'm more than happy to be making that sacrifice so my husband can follow his dreams and we can have a more comfortable and stable life in the future.

I did! My husband enlisted in the army so I left behind my home of 22 years and my career of 4 to be with him 20 hours away from my family. I started over new here and we've decided we're going to stay and raise a family here :)
