Massachusetts people can you help me out with your state please?

Hi people. So i live in CA and I want to move to MA it's my top choice. I've always wanted to live on the east coast and MA is just where I want to go. I feel like it's so expensive that I can't, and keep trying to make it work, I want to move there that bad. I have to move this year my only problem is narrowing it down and if I can make MA work, MA wins!!!! So I'm looking for racially diversed, affordable, and safe? And if you could include of things I need are close or not, like stores and things to do, restaurants, ect....??? Thanks
