Bacterial vaginosi?

I believe I have bv? At first I thought it was a yeast infection but yesterday when I wiped all I saw was grey flakes. It's not extremely itchy but uncomfortable. When I had a yeast infection it was gone within 3 days with a home remedy. I've felt this discomfort since the 1st, I don't have unprotected sex either. I've also like to add that I recently got off nexplanon. Could it be a hormonal imbalance? What was your experience with bv?
