My husband and I have been ttc for about a year now. Both of us are overweight and so I thought that would be an issue, went to the doctor for me and she said everything was perfect and that we should have no issues! I started using the first response ovulation kits and used them for 3 months straight and it never once said that i ovulated! Went back to the doctor and she took a bunch of blood and my insulin level was a little high so she put me on a very low dose of metformin but said if it made me sick, I could stop taking it! It gave me awful diarhhea and made me naseous so i stopped taking it. Went back to the doctor and she told me that if i started being more physically active that would help so i have been doing that and i have lost 10 lbs but still nothing! I would do anything for a baby just dont know where to turn? We have talked about clomid but she wont do that until we hit our year mark for ttc? Has anyone tried clomid or anything else to help??
