is extra strength Tylenol safe during first trimester?

Lately I've been getting terrible headaches and migraines....I have read so many different articles saying it's safe and not so safe? I am calling my doctor in the am to confirm it's ok. Thoughts or evidence on the topic? What does your doctor say?

I just talked to a nurse at the doctors office about this today. I have had migraines before and they aren't fun. Last night had a headache that lasted until noon today. She said that there isn't much that's safe to take that is OTC aside from Tylenol.  She said somethings that could help is peppermint oil and massage temples, a can of coke a cola(caffeine dilates blood vessels), and she said if it just won't go away head to urgent care to get something stronger if it is a migraine.

I just used ice packs last night. I was VERY tempted to take Tylenol, but I wanted to see how long it would actually drag out.

Tylenol is fine, regular or extra strength. The daily limit is 4 grams (4000mg) in 24 hours. Regular strength is 325mg/tablet, extra strength is 500mg/tablet. You can take up to 2 tablets of extra strength four times in a 24 hour period.

I take it (recommended by doctor)  ill be 20 weeks tomorrow and I've had a headache every single day almost. 🙄 Tylenol is the only thing that helps lol.  But yes I take extra strength

I've heard regular Tylenol is ok not extra strength.. I was getting bad headaches also I took the Tylenol and just drank lots of water.. fluids help a lot

Tylenol is safe during pregnancy. My obgyn actually told me to get the extra strength one  if needed. 
Definitely call up and ask, but in general,  Tylenol regular or extra strength is fine

I have been taking extra strength Tylenol since the first trimester just be sure to only take 2 tablets 3 times daily. It is safe to take it if you need it. Good luck :)
