how do I get my boyfriend to be more involved

I spoke to my boyfriend and asked if he's even interested in the whole pregancy and he said it's boring for him because it's not him that's carrying the baby or it's not his body changing he said it will be more real to him when she's actually born and he dosent have a connection yet. I completely Understand what he's saying but is there anything I can do to get him more involved. He already comes baby shopping and all that and he likes to feel the baby kick but he still dosent seem interested
