help!!!! so IVF cycle question, DID I BLOW IT?

So I was at doc last week period was set for Monday and we want to start for an egg retrieval. He sets up my protocol period comes 2 days early when office was closed I calle din today to see if they still needed blood work and ultrasound and she said no because it was supposed to be on day here and said I should have coming in yesterday I explained I didn't know and then asked about the birth control and she said she wasn't sure if I could start bc because period was over.  Did I just screw my chances at a may retrieval and June get!?!?
