Do strangers really do this??

Question

I was seeing in some posts how strangers will come up to you and start rubbing your bump without your permission!! Is this true??!! Omg if someone just came up to me and touched my stomach I think I'd flip out lol I already have a bad temper. Haven't got my bump yet, but when I do I swear...🙄

I've never had a stranger touch my belly. I don't like being touched because of an abusive past, but my SO touches my belly whenever he wants. I get uncomfortable with other family touching so whenever my SIL would start rubbing on my belly and talking to the baby I would just tell her shes sleeping... I'm fine if I approach you with "hey do u wanna feel the baby kick? " but I'm not fine when I'm doing something and people just touch me.

I am preggo with my 3rd son. I haven't had this one time ever....but I guess I just have one of those personalities/or faces that says touch me and you will die...lol I very rarely even have ppl I know touch my belly without asking....

Not yet. I wouldn't want strangers or acquaintances doing it at all though. The only people who have touched my bump have been close friends and family and i don't mind with them I like them bonding with baby already. My brother put his face on my belly and sang twinkle twinkle little star last week though so I'm pretty sure my child is traumatised lol

It hasn't happened to me, but I have a resting bitch face so maybe people sort of assume not to touch me. Which is true - I would not handle it well :)

Yupp it happens. I haven't had it happen often however at work the one day I had a lady touch my stomach (mind you I'm an MRI tech and she was one of my patients so it isn't like it was even a coworker) and I so badly wanted to be like uhm excuse me?! What the hell is wrong with you? But I bit my tongue and just did one of those fake ass smirk and giggle.

Yes some girl she was probably like 17 came up to me & goes " you're so pretty cute baby bump " and doesn't put one but both hands on my bump I was like uhmmmm ok .. I just thought it was because she was young

Never had it happen with a stranger thankfully. I would flip out. Even my husband asks if I mind cus he wants to say goodnight to the baby sometimes lol And I still usually say no and he says you stink and gives me a kiss lol

I work in a shop and a customer touched my bump then told me I looked like I was going to have a massive baby!!! As I'm not due until july

Yep! Apparently when people see a pregnant woman there is nothing off limits. I have space issues. I like my personal space and the only person allowed in my personal space is my husband. But that doesn't matter when you're pregnant. I had so many people just come up to me and rub my belly like they knew me.

Yes!!! 😡 im 14 weeks and a lady at church just did it. Ive had men and women come up and rub my stomach with every one of my pregnancies. Ive yet to announce this one yet but showing quite a bit... Ive gotten to the point where i hate being touched right now unless its my s.o
