normal after stopping BF?

So baby is over a year old, she self weaned. Literally the day after, I got my period back. It was horrificly heavy & lasted a week. 3 days of nothing...and now I'm spotting almost period again. Also the bloat is insane. Maybe bc I haven't got my period in almost two years I forgot how awful this is...but I'm also wondering why I'm spotting a lot a few days after it ended? Is this normal? Body readjusting & hormones adjusting from stopping BF? I feel pregnant bloated (I'm not, have an IUD).
