When to start tracking?

Hello since last month was not our month we are starting over again. I just started to track ovulation with strips so I'm still confused on all this so bare with me . so how long after AF stops do I start testing for ovulation?

A doctor would say start testing day 8 if your period is 7 days. Test from day 8 until your next period. This way, you can figure out if you ovulate, if you don't ovulate, if you ovulate early, or if you ovulate late in your cycle. A positive lh surge will show both lines equally being the same color. If you aren't ovulating, there are meds to help turn that around. It took my husband and I a little over a year to conceive. Once we did, we miscarried. My doc told me 75% of women miscarry their first pregnancy. Some never know they miscarried and some do. If you miscarry, (which you probably won't), you are very fertile in the following months. If you're unsure how long your cycle is, you may want to start the day after your period. If you know your typical cycle length, you could count back 20 days from when you would expect to start your period and start then. Best of luck!
