leaving baby at 5 months?

My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary together. He wants to go away for 4 nights but we have a just 5 month old baby who we would be leaving with my mom. I'm getting nervous! Should I go or stay home with him? We have a 7&4 year old as well. I'm just scared that he is to young! Please no negative comments!

It's my husband and my anniversary today and this weekend we are taking a "staycation." We booked a nice hotel in a neighboring city and are leaving our 4.5 month old son with my parents from tomorrow night until Sunday morning. I battled with it at first but I honestly can't think of a better anniversary gift than a full night's sleep.

I am too!!!  Taking a trip with just my husband for four nights at the end of the month and I'm getting sad about leaving my kids!  My mil watches her once a week so I'm not too worried but still- SHE WJLL MISS HER MAMA!!! 😭😭😭😩

I think it depends on the baby's temperament.. are they easy going and will take a bottle from anyone? Mine won't even let her own father give her a bath. I say do what feels right for you and maybe go on a few date nights to test how she does.
