Any other mommas out there commiserate with me on this one?

Thankfully, my son goes down for bed typically without a hitch. Its naps during the day that are driving me crazy! I am not sure what to do to get him to sleep (not in my arms).

I try laying down drowsy, yet awake and just reassuring him before leaving his room, but I can only keep doing that so long before he gets overtired from not going to sleep. I also try holding him until he's asleep, and lying him down, but sometimes his eyes spring open!

I'm not sure what to do for him! Any tips would be greatly appreciated, i just want to make sure he's rested during the day to avoid the meltdowns.
