bf isn't helping with baby stuff
Firstly, I love my bf. He is a great person but lately he has been driving me absolutely crazy when it comes to the baby stuff.
I have bought alllllll furniture and decorations for nursery and my bf just needs to buy the rocker. I have been asking him for weeks and he keeps saying he will but never does. Then last night he told his 7 year old son that he is going to re decorate his room too and bought him a new bed. WTF.
Glad he's doing his room but the rocker was less than the bed and his son doesn't need a bed. We JUST bought him one less than a year ago.
I have been stocking up on diapers, he has not bought one pack or even offered to help. I asked him to buy one pack and he tells me he will and never does.
Baby shower will be in my backyard. Since we just move into our house 6 months ago, we need to have work done to our backyard first (sprinklers, sod, tree removal, etc). My bf is doing NOTHING to get the project started and I have called like 500 people who don't take me seriously.I asked to save $100 a payday for the baby since January. So he should have $700 by now. I have saved close to $4,500 on my own and he has yet to give me a dollar.
He makes $30k a year more than me so it isn't a money issue. I don't get it. Makes me feel like I'm not going to be able to depend on him once the baby comes.
Anyone else dealing with a SO who isn't contributing the same already??
