anybody else not doing a social media "announcement?"

Question

I don't want to criticize anyone who does them because I know it's common, but for my own personal reasons I won't disclose because I don't want to offend people who do it, I don't think I'm going to do a social media announcement. Anyone else? 
Let me also say that even though I have my own convictions/reasons why I don't like them, I don't begrudge anyone who is into all that.

I'm not announcing it. I'm just gonna post a picture one day and be pregnant in it. Unless that counts as one

I'm also not going to announce on social media, family and close friends already know. The rest is not really special so I really don't care if they find out later when I post a picture holding a baby 😂😂

We aren't. I don't judge people at all who do it either. My reason is that we struggled with infertility for almost 3 years with one miscarriage along the way. Every social media announcement broke my heart and then I felt like a terrible person for not being happy for someone!, which made me feel worse. It was a horrible vicious cycle. You never know what people are struggling with and I don't ever want to hurt someone who may be struggling privately  (even tho it's obviously not intentional).

Nope I won't be doing it. I don't need to get  'likes' from 300 people who I never see any more! Anyone who is close to me, will be told, in person.

Noticing against the people who do it, but I never will. I don't see the point in announcing my pregnancy to people who will never have any part in my child's life. The only people who need to know are close family and friends in my opinion.

I don't think I'm doing one either as far as my pregnancy is concerned. I don't really "vibe" with that many people anyway. Sharing my business with the world has never been a thing for me. Maybe will post something once my baby is born. Everyone one who I want to know at this point already knows. I don't knock anyone who chooses to make a social media announcement though.

I'm doing an online announcement after I have told almost everyone in person I wanted to and have mailed announcements to those I do not see often but don't want them finding out through social media, I'm going to get the mailed announcements like two weeks before I post anything online.
