TMI - opinions please

TMI - opinions please? For the last two months or so, every time I shave my armpits (never been an issue before) my left armpit comes out in this painful rash. The strange thing is the right armpit is completely fine. I've not shaved for about 2 weeks making sure it's not an ongoing irritation. Anyone had anything like this before or have an opinions???
