I said it really simply. 
"You need to get a whooping cough booster before I'm 34 weeks otherwise you can't see the baby when it's born for at least 6 weeks. Your call."

So easy to do!

The advice in the U.K. is that if mum has a booster during pregnancy, then baby has immunity until the vaccination. So if you have your booster, baby should be covered.

I'm not. I grew up in a medical household and know many doctors and nurses personally, including my mother. They all say that unless someone lives in your hoursehold or will be around the baby all the time, there really is no need to get it.

We just said: "the doctor recommended anyone who will be close to the baby get this vaccine. Whooping cough is going around again and they think it's best to create an immunity bubble around the baby since it can't be vaccinated for a while."

I'm not asking either...it's not recommended to have them in a bubble and it's not actually helpful...
