How effective is the pull out method?

I would like to know how effective everyone finds the pull out method.

It's not effective for many reasons. There is what is called pre-cum which comes before ejaculation. This can have sperm in it. Sperm doesn't just shoot out and leave the urethra squeaky clean. If a guy hasn't peed between rounds of intercourse there will still be sperm and pregnancy is still possible.

You will never hear a comprehensive sex educator tell you otherwise.

Even on birth control, the pullout method scares me. I just never want to take the chance cuz I know I don't want a baby for a long time and I'd like to keep it that way. It's not worth the anxiety afterward to me tbh. And I just think cum is gross and don't want to deal with that mess. Condoms are just so much better and he lasts longer with one on anyway, so it's just all around more beneficial to use condoms. I think it's just selfish and irresponsible to not be as safe as you possibly can when you know you're not in the position to have to deal with consequences of not being safe.

It shouldnt be using as your main contraception, just get condoms or go on sometype of birth control

I would never use that as a method if you don't want to get pregnant it really isn't effective due to pre cum. To avoid pregnancy go on birth control or use condoms

So far been doing it nearly a year, no scares, although another baby wouldn't be a problem if it was to happen!
