Birth control stopping cycle???

Question

So i was on the 3 month depo shot and i decided to stop taking it and switch to a different birth control. I was gonna wait till my period came back cause it stopped coming when i took it but it has been about a month now and i still haven't gotten it. I already went to the doctor and they told me i wasn't pregnant so idk what's going on????

I would just switch to your new birth control. Your period will come back. I was on depo for years and switched to the pill. It took around a year to get any type of period back, but I wasn't about to risk getting pregnant by not using a different birth control while waiting for my period to return. Keep a stash of pregnancy tests at home to ease your mind until your period returns ☺

Your cycles can be slightly disrupted by any birth control. If you're just getting off of yours, your body is still trying to get used to its natural and normal hormones. If you want, you could wait another month or two and see if you receive your period then. But it's normal to not have your regular cycle RIGHT after getting off BC
