Do you believe you can smash two religions together and say you're both?

I've come across people trying to do this twice in my life. My grandma's sister and her daughter claim to be Hindu Christians. They believe in both. I'm not sure about specifics as they're estranged from the family and generally very awful, judgemental people. I looked this up and it's not a thing. They made it up. 
The second time this happened, I was 16 and had my ex girlfriend's cousin ask me if they could be Jewish and Wiccan (I'm wiccan so we were having a conversation about Wicca and he really liked the way it sounded). At the time I said "why not?" but now... I don't think that's possible. In both cases they're on the opposite side of the spectrum. I find it weird, but what do you think?

I think personally it is very possible to respect both but the basic principles in Christianity and Hinduism are so different for instance idol worshipping, karma, reincarnation etc

In my opinion I think you can believe in various religions, but I not sure if you would be able to specifically call yourself those religions. I consider myself "spirtual" and follow different practices and beliefs from different religions but I wouldn't (for example) call myself a Christian-Buddist-Pagan.

Uh maybe if the two religions don't have totally opposing views. I've seen "Christian Wiccans" on social media before and I'm like...lol not possible, the beliefs are too contradicting to mash them. Christian and Hinude conflict too much as well, same with Jewish and Wiccan so I'm skeptical.

I don't see how that possible to fully believe in 2 conflicting religions. I could see if you weren't sure what your beliefs are and you identify with parts of two different religions, but fully believing in both? That doesn't seem probable.

I don't know, I'm not a religious person, but it seems a lot of religions have very different view and "rules" so I don't see how that would really work.

I said no because I have believes for all over. I don't think of my self as being multiple religions. In fact when anyone has asked me when religion i am I say I don't really found any of them.

"Jewish" isn't just a religion, it's a culture too, so I could see that. Hindu Christian makes zero sense to me though.

I think you can say whatever you want and claim whatever you want to however it is kind of strange since those religious kind of compete with the concept of eachother, what I think the people really mean is that they like ideas from both but I too afraid to just be without religion and they hold onto those titles. At the end of the day religion is a socially constructed and man made concept the very idea of religion gives you the authority to creat your own reality which is why in my opinion I find religion to be bullshit. However from a standard of what we define each religion by they have different theories and concepts that define that they are that religion. Personally I think the best thing to do is to not abide to a set of religious ideologies that way you can believe what ever you want and cherry pick what you want without being a hypocrite. I always think if your not going to believe the entire thing or be against certain things but not the other then why bother calling yourself it at all.

Ehh. Kinda.

My family is half Jewish and half Catholic (with some outliers like my dad and I).

I'm Christian, and celebrate some of the Jewish holidays, though I'm hoping to begin celebrating more of them. Not only is it more true to my background, but Christianity goes hand in hand with Judaism.
 Christianity CAME from Judaism and has lost so much of its history trying to distance itself.
 It talks about how much better things are now that Jesus is here when even church teachers have never studied the old testament (the Jewish history) and what it was like before Jesus came. It boggles my mind. I feel that this way I'm being more true to the Christian religion.
