No, but I do think it should be the other way around. If a child wishes to have contact with his/her biological parents (and the bio parents are okay with it) they should be able to. I'm sure if they're minors the adoptive parents are able to put a stop to it if they wish to

I don't think everyone is comfortable with those adoptions and I don't think all biological parents are healthy for their children.

No. Not at all. And this topic pisses me off. Especially in closed adoption cases, bio parents have no rights to the child. None.

For a closed adoption no. When i was adopted it was actually mandatory for my biological mom to give up her rights and make it a closed adoption. So she couldn't have any contact with me until i was 18 and i think that was definitely for the best.

No, it's a personal choice. I think most allow the information to be available as far as their birth mothers name.

No. I'm adopted, I feel like that would be overwhelming and lead to many fights with certain types of people. If you're choosing adoption for your child, and you want to be a part of their life still, then obligate for an open adoption from the beginning.

NO absolutely not. It's a closed adoption for a reason now if when the child gets older and chooses to want to meet the others then that's different but if it were me I would not want to.
