where do I go from here?

I'm pregnant with my first child, I just found out today. I'm only about 4 1/2 weeks along but I don't know what to do from here.

When do I go to the dr? What do I need to buy? I like to be overly prepared and I want to be sure we are ready to go.

Any tips!?

Call your Ob/gyn's office and they will tell you when to schedule your first appointment. Usually it's around 8-10weeks but it depends on the doctor. Start taking your prenatal vitamins now if you didn't already start taking them before you got pregnant. Quit alcohol, smoking if you haven't already and ask your OB/gyn's office if they have a guide on foods to avoid etc. Otherwise there are plenty of books to help you.

Find a good OBGYN and give them a call. They will tell you when your first appointment is based on when the doctor likes to first see pregnant patients. Wait to buy things until after your baby shower. It really only takes a day or two or shopping online and in stores to buy everything you will need. You minus well see what you get at your shower so you can save money. Congratulations!

Start on prenatals, and call an OB! They will tell you when they will want you to come in. Start cutting harmful things out, like alcohol or cigarettes, if you haven't already. Read online about what you should or shouldn't eat, what medicines are safe to take, etc. Ovia Pregnancy app is good for those!

I started prenatals made an appointment with regular doctor for 100% confirmation from there I called my obgyn and they schedule an appointment for when I was past 8 weeks but do call now because they get full
