Baby shower

I need to vent for a moment. I am almost two weeks till my due date. I had my baby shower on Easter. Everyone knew I am having a girl. However, there was just one person who got me a boy gift. Like she was proud of it. Just rubbed me the wrong way when clearly I'm having a girl. Plus, I married into a Jamaican family. So I was literally the only white person at my baby shower because none of my friends from around me was able to make it due to it being Easter Sunday. My mother in law took control of the party and did it when she wanted to. Just frustrates me because we should have done it on Saturday so at least my friends had a better chance of coming.
