breech baby at 36 weeks advice?!!

So I'm 35 +4 and had a doctors appointment today. My baby is in trans/beech. It doesn't look like he's moving and he's showing now signs of turning. I asked my GP what the situation was with this but she just said the doctor at the hospital will explain it all to me. I am due next week at the hospital 36 + 4 days I will be, I'm not sure weather they will try and turn the baby at this point or call me back for a date to try turn him? Also I've heard this is maybe too late to try and turn him so then they could just schedule a c section? Anyone been through this? Tried to call my midwife but no answer! Any advice is helpful!
