Questions for all of you?

I haven't had a period for 4 months all a sudden I am having one. I went to my obgyn they said something about my insulin levels being elevated, causing me not to be able to start my period or ovulate. I started taking prenatal pills, and using Preseed about 2 days ago. Do you ladies have any other advice or experienced this? We really want a baby and are ttc this month!
