Final Stretch Worries

So I have officially 13 days until my due date (May 2nd!!). I had my 38 week appointment today and found out I'm dilated to 3cm and contractions have been off/on. My concern is I've been measuring within average for this whole pregnancy for my fundal height, that is until today. The doctor has me at 34 when I should be at 38. Now I know when the baby starts dropping your fundal measurement will go down, but the doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound and told me not to worry (um okay yeah tell a very pregnant mother not to worry when you're scheduling an urgent ultrasound). The only thing I have going right now is that his heartbeat is good and I can't wait until the ultrasound so I can put my mind at ease (hopefully). Has anyone else had this happen?
