Long Distance Relationships?

I was wondering how many people here have a long distance relationship and what it's like on a day to day basis? I know some days are harder than others but overall is it worth it?

My husband was in the military when we first started dating. It did get tough sometimes because you didn't know what was going on but we video chatted and talked on the phone when we could and that really helped us out a lot. If you really love them it's worth it. We've been together for 4 years and married for two and we're still going strong.

Met my husband almost 5 years ago online and we did long distance for almost 3 years. It was super rough but we made it a point to try and drive to see each other every weekend (he was in Ohio I was in PA). We definitely learned a lot about each other bc all you have is calls or texts. It's definitely worth it as long as you're willing to be open and willing to work on communication. You definitely learn a lot about trust too 😊

I met my husband almost 10 yrs ago online. Out of the 10 we have been living together 5 yrs in july and married 4 yrs in august. It was not an easy road at all but we were able to get through it and I am so happy we did. He is the love of my life and the happy ever after I always hoped for.
