Ladies, first pregnancy ever. Trying to be positive. Went to the docs around 5 weeks or so, today is 6weeks 1day. Initial docs appt had bloodwork, urine test and ultrasound. Sac showed up, baby did not. Doc wanted to see me back 2 days later to compare bloodwork. They called me today and said my "quant levels went from 19 something to 39 something. Lots of sharp shooting pains in lower abdomen today. No spotting or bleeding. I've been testing every few days and still pregnant. Afraid to make much movement in order to preserve baby. Anyhow- docs keep saying it's early and won't give me much positivity. I understand being realistic but is this common practice?
