Anybody not taking any? We just found out we're pregnant with baby #2 and since my husbands in the process of enlisting i told him I'm not going to the doctor til we get Tricare, otherwise that'd be another bill we can't afford ATM. But without the doctor trip I could get prenatals at Walmart, I did their gummies with baby 1.

But even with baby 1 the prenatals made me feel so terrible I didn't take any the last two or three months and he was born perfectly healthy.

I honestly only took them in the first trimester and my baby is doing just fine.

The last 2-3 months aren't as vital when it comes to taking prenatal vitamins. It's the first trimester when it's the most important. Neural tube defects occur in the first trimester which the folic acid in prenatals help prevent.

I just want to mention, gummie prenatals don't get absorbed as much as the pill form does..

I've been taking generic prenatals from Meijer for about a year. Started when we were trying to concieve our first continues through our miscarriage and have taken everyday for this pregnancy. Doc gave my prescription ones, I tried a couple. I didn't like them as muc.

I agree first trimester is most important.... also all pregnancies are different I wasn't sick at ALL with my first but was with my second.  so at least give them a try they may not bother you this time!!
