Do you think it's offensive when people tell couples they look a like or look like siblings?

I see this a lot when watching videos or reading comments off of couple's pictures together and to me it's like why would you tell them that? They're obviously not related so I don't think you telling them they look like siblings is an appropriate thing to say? Personally, I think it's kind of offensive and rude to tell a couple that they could be siblings but...what do you guys think?
