Our first child was a boy. So with our second, who is now 4, we so believed it was a girl. We bought a few girl outfits, i crocheted a purple blanket and all that. Our first ultrasound, around 16 or 17 weeks, we easily saw that we were having our second boy. Luckily, i had 2 brothers who were expecting little girls. So i gave one an outfit, and gave the other an outfit and the blanket. We kept a few outfits though. We had hopes.

The next baby we were expecting, we hoped for a girl, but suspected another boy. Sadly we lost the baby at 15 weeks 3 days. When i delivered, we delivered our 3rd son.

This time around, with our rainbow, we had the slight hope for a girl. This baby will be our last. But, with our track record we prepared mentally for a boy. We just got the results back on Thursday from my gentic testing, this baby is a girl! So we are finally going to be able to use those few saved outfits.

Daddy loves elephants, so these were the only outfits we saved. So excited for our rainbow.
