7wd1 bleeding after peeing

I'm 7wd1 and I went to the bathroom to pee. There was bright red blood when I wiped and immediate heavy spotting for one minute after. The spottting stopped so, I went to bed with a plan to go to an urgent care and contact my doctor in the morning. Now, I just woke up 4 hours later to pee again and the same thing occurred. Should I go to the er?

Update:

I called the emergency number for my ob and talked to the doctor on call. She said not to go to the er unless there are clots and to take it easy until their office is open on Monday. I haven't had any spotting again since 1:00 a.m. Terrified this is the start of a miscarriage though.
