How was your high school experience??

What wad our high school experience like? Please comment!! Im going to be a senior in a couple months and since graduation season is soon it had me reflecting on my high school experience. Id say mine was bittersweet or mostly bad but had a few key points that made me greatful for it.

Even though high school was horrible in the moment, I was super ugly back then, and I was pretty heavily bullied until maybe 11-12th grade, it was still very memorable and I'll always cherish that time in my life.

Yeah, screw highschool, I had no independence, no voice, and I hated puberty. I looove college though, more diverse experiences and people, more free expression, freedom, etc.

Idk besides bullying and racist ppl (I lived in a veeeerrryy white area) I met some of the greatest people and had some of the greatest times. Also as soon as I started taking care of my image and appearance everything turned around and people were nicer, boys were just..they wanted me. Not that that matters. I truly think your experience depends on your role in high school..someone high up on the social ladder may have some of the best years of their lives, someone right at the bottom with no friends who gets teased a lot won't have a great time. Idk why I consider 6th form a part of high school but they're just two additional optional years of higher ed and that was the best because then I had a school sweetheart and people adored us. He made my experience magical, whisked me away from my lessons to go on adventures and stay late looking at stars and talk about life. Ugh. But yeah. I had the best friends too. It was lit.

I didn't have many friends. Girls were rude for no reason. Some went out of their way to make me feel like crap.

High school was the worst time of my life. College is definitely for me.

I hated it. I actually quit lol but my experience was only my own. I got bullied really bad 8th & 9th grade (group of girls beat me up, cut my face all over, cut my hair, nose was bleeding) I went to a really good school for 10th but it got shut down, went back to a really horrible school for 11th I failed that year and just never went back. It was hard for me to go anywhere in public I had developed really bad social anxiety. I couldn't go to the mall for a really long time either. But I'm better now and I'm actually in college and I worked at the mall for almost 4 years lol

Good! I miss it so much. Life was so much easier back then. I'm graduating from college in a few weeks and i still miss high school and how easy the work was, getting to see my friends every day, and not having adult responsibilities. I remember being so happy to finally go to high school because my middle school experience was hell. People were so much nicer in high school. 😊

I hated high school. I lived in a predominately white community and I dealt with so much racism. And they were the same people who would say that racism doesn't exist. I just finished so hopefully college is better
