If you have a disagreement or a problem with your spouse and want to vent or seek advice, who do you talk to?

Go to your spouse to vent, it's no ones else's business and won't be resolved unless you communicate. The moment other people know (besides people you trust) the more people talk.

My mom, my friends - including my coworkers who I consider good friends. But most of the time if it's a real issue, I talk it out with my husband and don't bring it up outside of our marriage because it's nobody else's business. Other minor irritations and stress I will confide in family and friends.

I talk it out with my friend 90%of the time. Usually face to face but sometimes text if we're both heated and need time away from one another. This method works for us. If I can't talk it out with my friend I talk to my mum or best mate, then I talk to my friend once I understand how I'm feeling and have tried to see it from his side also.

Depending on what the issue is about, I would personally keep it to myself. It's between me and my spouse and no one else. I've made the choice to ask for advice a few times in the past on things, and I've gotten some pretty shitty advice that probably would have made matters worse for my relationship. One persons experience and advice does not fit all. People and their personalities and relationships respond very differently to certain situations sometimes.

Either friends or my mum. I try not to share too much with my mum but she'll just be there for me and we'll go out and do something fun to take my mind off it!
