What do i say?

I kind of know this guy, but not too well. He's always thought i was beautiful and i always thought he was very attractive himself.. But today he asked me if we could.. you know.. smash, as he put it. I don't want to because i haven't before and he has MANY times.. How do i tell him i don't want to? i still want him to think i'm attractive though.. and i don't want him to hate me.

Next time he brings that up, just tell him straight up that you don't feel comfortable doing that yet or don't want to in general. If he tries to do anything to change your mind or make you feel bad about it, then dump him immediately. The only acceptable response in that scenario is something along the lines of "okay". If he says anything besides that or tries to plead/argue with you about it, then he isn't being respectful to you or your wishes and you're better off without him.

If he hates you for not wanting to lose your virginity in that way then he is not worth your friendship. Just tell him that you're not looking for that sort of relationship- that's a polite way of saying it. Don't let him pressure you- if he does then be firm with him. But overall I would not worry too much about what he thinks- if he is not polite and respectful enough to even take you out on a date before wanting to "smash" with you then you should not be too concerned with politeness- but I understand not wanting to lower yourself to his standards so hopefully this should help.

If you don't want to do it or feel uncomfortable, don't do it. You need to feel ready & be able to do it with someone you absolutely want to do it with. Be honest with him & just say you don't feel comfortable just yet. You don't have to tell him you're a virgin if you don't want to, but let him know you're not down for it. If he automatically doesn't think you're beautiful anymore, he was not the one for you. If he is considerate & wants to continue talking to you & still taking thinks further in different ways, than he's the one. Boys shouldn't be thinking you're only beautiful for sex...there's SO many other beautiful things about girls & boys that make them who they are.
