I had an HBAC (home birth VBAC) after 12+ hours early labor & 12 hours active labor. I had a few tiny tears because she came out so quickly once she was crowning (most of her head and whole body came out during a single push) - took about an hour of pushing to get her to that point. She was 20 inches long and almost 10 pounds (and her head was 14.5 inches)! I can't believe how big she was. But it WAS incredibly painful & overwhelming. I relied heavily on my midwives, doulas, husband, & mother for their support to make it all possible. I am a blessed woman and can't believe how well it all went.
